Since June 6, 2011 is called Malaga Airport-Costa del Sol is located in southern Andalusia and was established in 1919 (IATA code: AGP ICAO code: LEMG)

Malaga is also the birthplace of the painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso with two destinations devoted to the painter: These sites, the Plaza de la Merced and the important Picasso Museum Malaga, very recommended this second place.

Other interesting attractions are: The Cathedral of la Encarnacion in Renaissance style with baroque elements, the Episcopal Palace and Park of Malaga, a subtropical botanical garden next to the port containing specimens from five continents; the park is surrounded by monumental buildings with a incredible valor.
